Jon Humboldt Gates
The 5th generation Humboldt County native will be at Eureka Books on November 2nd from 6 - 9 pm during Arts Alive. His new book, Firestorm: A Personal Narrative from the Epicenter of a California Wildfire, describes in vignettes how he lost everything in the 2017 Tubbs fire. Gates is the author of two popular books about Humboldt County, Falk's Claim and Night Crossings.
