The Clarke Historical Museum invites the community to the second in its four-part tea-themed events. The presentation will be led by Harvey II & Holly Harvey, founders of the Horai Center. Each participant will receive a custom-designed mug by Jenna Catsos of Pen & Pine, samples of ceremonial Matcha and sweets, along with access to a Zoom link for an introduction to a basic form of Cha-no-yu (tea ceremony) through both observation and participation. Tickets can be purchased on the Clarke Museum website event page or by calling the museum at 443-1947. Participants will be able to pick up their tea kits from the museum in the days leading up to the event or can be shipped for a small additional cost; if shipping is required, please order by April 2, 2021 to ensure a timely delivery.
Price: $30 per person. Includes: mug, tea, sweets, access to the presentation, and entry for the special door prize drawing.
