Godwit Days Opening Reception

Vendor booths, student bird art contest entries, silent auction, festival merchandise. 6:30-8:00 p.m., presentation of fifth Humboldt County Bird of the Year Award, followed by free lectures by Dave Feral, Mad River Alliance, on the Mad River, and by Jack Dumbacher, California Academy of Sciences, on the future of deep forest owls in California.
