Groundbreaking Ceremony

When: Wed., March 23, 10 a.m. 2022

Lutheran Home for the Aging of Humboldt County (LHAHC) will be holding a Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an 8-unit apartment complex on Wednesday, March 23 rd , 2022, at 10:00 am. The event will take place at 2130 Smith Lane in front of Mountain View Village apartments. City officials, members of the Board of Directors along with other representatives from the community will be present to mark the commencement of the project. Lutheran Home for the Aging of Humboldt County is a non- profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the elderly. LHAHC owns two properties designated for senior housing in Fortuna, California. We are the Management Entity for Newburg Retirement Center and Mountain View Village. They provide subsidized housing for seniors age sixty-two or over and/or disabled persons.
