Growing, Processing, and Eating Quinoa

When: Sat., Nov. 7, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2015

In celebration of fall, we will be harvesting, processing, and eating the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden’s own home-grown organic quinoa. Quinoa, the multi-faceted miracle crop from the Andes, is considered the only food that provides all essential amino acids. Learn the benefits and processes involved in growing this—and other grains—in your own backyard!

Price: Classes are $10 Members and Master Gardeners, $20 Non-Members (includes Gardens admission).
