Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

HSU Wind Ensemble and Jazz Orchestra

When: Sat., Oct. 12, 8-10 p.m. 2019

Please join the Humboldt State University Department of Music for a diverse double-header of band music featuring the HSU Wind Ensemble and the HSU Jazz Orchestra. After a quick reset, band leader Dan Aldag will take the Jazz Orchestra through their paces, playing charts originally composed for groups like the Mingus Big Band and the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band, plus an Aldag arrangement of a new composition by Boom Tic Boom's Allison Miller.
