This week's edition contained a cartoon comparing a person refusing vaccination with a person refusing to evacuate in a fire and a person refusing to obey the speed limit (Mailbox, Aug. 18). It was demeaning and hurtful to people because of a healthcare decision. I made this decision after agonizing thought and research. When I got COVID, I treated it with herbs, supplements and rest. I also quarantined. I came out fine.
Without further debating the issue, I appeal to you to take it easy on me and a large portion of your readership. We don't need more divisiveness at this time.
