Imperfect Parents Explored at Lifetree Café

The challenges and rewards of parenting will be explored at Lifetree Café on Sunday, June 18 at 7 p.m. The program, titled “Imperfect Parents: Making Peace and Moving On,” features a screening of And What Remains, an award-winning short film. “We’ve all learned lessons from our parents that have shaped who we are,” says Lifetree representative Craig Cable. “This program is dedicated to unpacking how those lessons have changed us for good or for bad.” During the program, Lifetree Café participants will have the opportunity to discuss how the forces that shaped their parent’s lives have impacted their own. Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located at Campbell Creek Connexion on the corner of Union and 13 th St., Arcata. Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting.
