Invasive Plant Removal Day

When: Sat., Sept. 21, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 2019

The City of Arcata and Friends of the Arcata Marsh are seeking volunteers for an Arcata Marsh work day on Satur­day, September 21. The focus will be on removing invasive non-native plants. The event will start at 9 a.m. and end around 1 p.m., but you don’t need to commit to helping during the entire 4 hours. The City will provide tools, gloves, and a pizza lunch. Bring water and dress to get dirty! Meet at the Interpretive Center’s South G Street parking lot at 9 a.m. For more information, contact George at [email protected].
