Mike Stortz writes music under the moniker Johnny Raincloud where the subjects of his songs can range anywhere from psychedelic confessionals, made-up horror stories, bad nightmares, paranoia of big money capitalism, tales of lost love, all the way to vivid memories of ordering his favorite breakfast sandwich back home at the NJ bagel shop. He is joined by Jon Hampton and Timmy Hidalgo where together they employ their east coast high energy to the sleepy west with sounds reminiscent of Parquet Courts sprinkled with a dash of Modest Mouse. Lo Five (PDX) & local rockers CT Bombers join the party!
