For 6 years, Humboldt County has flocked to the Arcata Playhouse to hear the music of the incomparable Joni Mitchell. The ensemble includes some very well-known Humboldt singers and musicians: Jan Bramlett, Morgan Corviday, Marla Joy, Marcia Mendels, Mike LaBolle, Chris Manspeaker, Violet Dinning, Julie Froblom, Tina Garsen, Leslie Quinn, Beverly Twist, and Joel Sonenshein. This 7th annual tribute celebrates Joni’s 75th birthday and the 50th anniversary of her first album, Song to a Seagull. The show will feature a number of songs from Song to a Seagull, as well as a selection of songs from 10 other albums.
