Latin Peppers

The Latin Peppers are again bringing their high energy salsa and Latin dance music to Persimmon’s in Redway. The Peppers are led by Jimmy Durchslag on trombone, who also does the arrangements. Jimmy has appeared with local favorites Ponche and Kachimbo. Orlando Morales plays timbales and percussion and has been a stalwart of the Latin scene in the SF Bay Area for many years. The group also includes Tim Randles of Ponche on piano, Andy Barnett, leader of the Garberville Town Band, on trumpet, Lee Phillips on bass, and Orlando's brother Arnie Morales on congas.
