As part of this semester's Let's Talk About the Middle East film and discussion series, HSU History professor Dr. Leena Dallasheh will be hosting a special screening of Gaza (2019). This documentary follows everyday Gaza civilians that living among political conflict and occupation that consistently leaves them without access to food, water, electricity, or shelter. This film shows how Gaza and its’ citizens are devastated by such crises- but still are not entirely defined by them. This event is a Q&A with special guest Abdalhadi Alijla, a Palestinian scholar born and raised in Gaza.
