Saturday May 14th marks the 24th annual Letter Carriers Food Drive. Letter carriers nationwide will be picking up donations of non-perishable foods and delivering them to local food banks. Look for blue donation bags in your mailbox the week leading up to the drive. Leave bags filled with non-perishable food items by your mailbox that Saturday and your Letter Carrier will do the rest. Volunteers are also needed to assist with sorting donations in Eureka and Arcata. Call 445-3166 for more information, or visit www.foodforpeople.org.
