EARLY SHOW! Japan’s Loolowningen & The Far East Idiots are, in their own words, a “Tokyo-based alternative/progressive rock trio, [with] ink wash painting-like sounds and unicursal rhythms, for all wanderers.” Formed in 2010, after several member changes, they reformed as an alternative blues trio consisting of SHIGERU AKAKURA (guitar/vocal), JUNPEI YAMAMOTO (drums) and ATSUSHI UEDA (bass). “Using rest-note and mishearing, quoting misunderstanding and super-liberal translation, they make unique sounds.” Don’t miss their Arcata debut on this U.S. tour!
