Luffenholtz Beach Tour

When: Sat., Sept. 16, 2-4 p.m. 2017

Deepen your connection to Trinidad’s coastal environments through the Trinidad Coastal Naturalist Training Program, sponsored by the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust. The next event in the training series by will be a tour of Luffenholtz Beach on Saturday, September 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. Meet at the Luffenholtz parking area on Scenic Drive. Luffenholtz is both beautiful and steeped in history — German Baron Karl von Loeffenholtz built a settlement and sawmill there in 1851. Enjoy beautiful views, a walk on the beach and learning more about the area’s rich history. The training is open to anyone interested in learning more about the Trinidad coast and how to share your interest with others. Participants may sign up for one or more of the programs in the series.
