A screening of the animated film by Amy Uyeki and Joy Hardin, documenting Marianne Pennekamp’s exodus as a young girl from pre-Nazi Germany to the United States via France. In addition to animation, previously unseen photos from her first 16 years illuminate the complex tapestry of Pennekamp’s early life.
