Mateel Comedy Cabaret with Brad Brake and Matt Gingrich

Comedians, Brad Brake and Matt Gingrich will perform at the May 3rd Comedy Cabaret at the Mateel Community Center. Hailing from Seattle, funnyman Brad Brake Brad has been entertaining as a stand up comic since 1993 and has worked with the likes of Dave Chappelle, Bobcat Goldwaithe, Howie Mandel and comics from NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” including finalists Ty Barnet and Rich Vos. Brake brings down the house with a high-energy, physical show, so physical he once dislocated his knee during a performance, but trooper that he is kept going and received a standing ovation. Up and coming comedian, Matt Gingrich, also from Seattle describes his act as autobiographical and “painfully honest”. Working as a stand up comedian since August 2010, Gingrich has hosted, featured and headlined at Giggles comedy club in Seattle, was recently awarded 2nd place in Tacoma's weekly comedy competition. He regularly keeps people laughing with his “life is stranger than fiction” shtick. Back by popular demand, he Bada Bling Burlesque ladies will be serving tables and selling their delicious cupcakes Doors open at 8:00pm with comedy at 8:30. Admission is $10 at the door and the show is recommended for those 18 and over only. Limited table seating is available with a 2-drink minimum.
