Music in the Garden - Featuring Scotia Band

Join Scotia Band at Humboldt Botanical Garden as the Music in the Garden series continues on July 1st. Conductor Ken Ayoob has chosen an eclectic mix of medleys from movies and musicals in addition to cultural and concert classics and a full helping of John Philip Sousa marches. Band favorites include Robert Russell Bennett’s arrangement of Richard Rodgers’ “The Sound of Music;” Jay Bocock’s “Blues Brothers Revue;” and Jared Spears’ “At a Dixieland Jazz Funeral.” Visitors to the Botanical Garden can picnic and roam the grounds or tour the garden or the Butterfly House.
