"Native American Sovereignty"

As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Christopher Peters will present “Native American Sovereignty: A Sustainable Paradigm.” Christopher Peters (Pohlik-lah/Karuk) is owner and principal consultant for Red Deer Consulting, which provides identity-based cultural advising, mentoring and capacity building services for tribal communities. For the past 25 years, Chris has also served as the president and CEO of the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples. Chris is actively engaged in social justice organizing, protecting sacred sites, working for holistic community renewal, and supporting the revitalization of cultural healing traditions and strategies.
