Poet David Holper's talk is entitled “A Look at Poetry.” Lunch is no-host. Holper, who teaches at College of the Redwoods, was selected as Eureka’s first poet laureate last year. He has published two books of poetry, The Bridge and 64 Questions and his poems have appeared in several literary publications. He has taught English for 31 years.
