Parent/Grandparent and Child Walk

The North Group Sierra Club invites the public to a parent/grandparent and child walk on the Trillium Falls Trail in Redwood National Park on Saturday, July 11. Carpools meet at 9:00 a.m. Arcata Safeway parking lot or meet at trailhead at 10:00 a.m. Directions: Hwy 101 north, exit Davison Road, follow sign to parking lot on left. Bring your child/grandchild and walk this lovely 2.8 mile loop winding through many memorial redwood groves. Check out the trail's namesake waterfall and maybe some elk in the meadow. Wear sturdy shoes and bring liquids and lunch. No strollers. Info: (707) 268-8767. Heavy rain cancels.
