Community activists and leaders will be speaking about what can be done and what is being done to mitigate climate change in light of the upcoming COP21 talks. Following the speakers, the march to the plaza will begin. In solidarity, our community will call for climate justice and an end to carbon pollution as we walk through the streets of Arcata. This is one of thousands of events around the world occurring this weekend, culminating in a mass mobilization in Paris on December 12th to pressure world leaders to advocate for all of humanity during the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
