Pints for Non Profits - Lost Coast Interpretive Association

When: Thu., Sept. 20, 3-6 p.m. 2018

Support Lost Coast Interpretive Association and enjoy a pint of beer at Gyppo Ale Mill in beautiful Shelter Cove at Pints for Non-Profits, Thursdsay, September 20 from 3 to 6 p.m. During those hours Gyppo will give one dollar for each beer purchased, then double that amount! Proceeds will help Lost Coast Interpretive Association achieve its mission is to inspire passion for nature through great programs like Summer Adventure Camp, a nature based day camp for kids. Other programs include Natural Science Lessons taught in local schools, educational talks and films including the upcoming Birds of Prey talk on November 4th, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, Youth Interpreters, and development of a native Plant Garden and Education Center at the old historic barns at the BLM in Whitethorn. LCIA is also a member of S.C.I.P.P. the Shelter Cove Invasive Plant Program, which is helping the community deal with the Pampas grass problem.
