Red Cross Volunteer Orientation

Red Cross volunteers are trained to meet the needs of those affected by disasters, providing food, shelter and comfort for families affected by major disasters such as fires, floods, and earthquakes. You can make a difference in our Community by become a volunteer with the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross relies on generous volunteers who give their time and talent to help fulfill our lifesaving mission. Volunteers constitute about 90 percent of the total workforce to carry out our humanitarian work. Red Cross volunteers bring help and hope to people in need. Join us and make a difference in your community. We’ll find the position that appeals to you and allows you to use your skills and talents. Attend a new Volunteer orientation on Thursday, January 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Humboldt Bay Fire Station.
