Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

R.E.D Shirt BBQ

Humboldt County Veterans are invited to the inaugural R.E.D. Shirt BBQ Event. The R.E.D. (“Remember Everyone Deployed”) Shirt movement is an opportunity to remember all service members currently serving. Attendees are encouraged to wear a red shirt to the event to show solidarity and support for our troops. Food options include hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, potato salad, macaroni salad, and drinks. Local Veteran Service Office staff will be onsite to answer questions and provide support for Veterans. All VA-enrolled Veterans will be able to receive a free flu shot.
