Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Restore Ryan Creek

When: Sat., May 19, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 2018

The Watershed Stewards Program and Humboldt County Public Works Department invite volunteers to join us in planting native trees and removing invasive plants and litter alongside Ryan Creek in Eureka at the McKay Community Forest. We will meet at the forest gate on Harris Street in Eureka, just west of Redwood Acres at 10 AM on Saturday, May 19th. Please bring a water bottle, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, rain boots or work shoes, and gloves if you have your own. We will provide water, snacks, tools, gloves, and a shuttle to the work site. We hope to see you there.
