Corinna Stone says that she and her family were homeless in Humboldt County for almost a year. Since finding a home she has been taking gift bags to homeless people, adding that it was a very good thing to come out and hold a sign.

Schultz says she spent a year houselesss in Humboldt County before getting a home. She said she had also been a "street mom" for eight to 10 years helping kids on the street and others when she had an RV.

Demonstrators in favor of the "Right to Sleep" gathered in front of the Humboldt County Courthouse, lining the north side of Fifth Street on Saturday afternoon. While some people passing in cars yelled insults, many more honked in support of the demonstrators.

Toby Nixon traveled from San Jose to join demonstrators in in support of the "basic right" of the homeless to sleep on the streets. A member of the National Origination To End Bans On Sleep, he traveled by bus to Willits and hitchhiked the remainder of the way.
