SFVAHCS TeleHealth Services Information

The Eureka VA Clinic will showcase technologies that give Eureka-area Veterans increased access to specialty health care services. Through the San Francisco VA Health Care System’s (SFVAHCS) TeleHealth program, Veterans in Eureka can see specialty health care providers at the San Francisco VA Medical Center without having to make the 300-mile trip down to San Francisco. Veterans and other members of the public can learn more about SFVAHCS TeleHealth services by visiting the TeleHealth Education Delivered (TED) van in the Eureka VA Clinic parking lot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 17. TED is a 34’ vehicle equipped with educational tools that demonstrate how Veterans in Eureka receive virtual care in mental health, wound care, audiology, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, and other specialty and primary care areas.
