The Great March: A concert inspired by The 1963 Great March on Washington. From legends Mahalia Jackson and Marian Anderson to newcomers Bernice Johnson Reagon (singing with the Freedom Singers), Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and other’s, this night celebrates the great gospel, folk revival and civil rights music that came together in a desperate and inspired time. Performances by The Nu Heavenly Tone Singers under the direction of James Harris, folk singer Chris Parreira and folk jazz fusion of The Paula Jones Band. Part of the Against the Wind Festival.
