Storyteller Baba Jamal Koram

An evening of thought-provoking, culturally relevant entertainment by the award-winning storyteller shared through stories, musings and music. Geared toward an adult audience. Baba Jamal is the recipient of the National Association of Black Storytelling’s highest award, The Zora Neale Hurston Award, and of the National Storytelling Network's prestigious Circle of Excellence Oracle Award. He’s been featured at National Storytelling Festivals in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center, at the Smithsonian Museums, (including the recent opening of the African American Museum), and schools in Germany and Ghana, Mali, and South Africa.   He holds the B.A., M.S., and Ed.S. degrees.
