Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Sundays at 4 w/The Scotia Band

When: Sun., Aug. 26, 4 p.m. 2018

Conductor Kenneth P. Ayoob has chosen music to both take advantage of the acoustics of the church sanctuary and to collaborate with Christ Church Music Director Merry Phillips, playing the Kegg pipe organ. Phillips will accompany the Band for three dramatic pieces: “Ye Banks and Braes O’ Bonnie Doon” by Percy Grainger; a medley of songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera;” and “Alleluia! Laudamus Te” by Alfred Reed. Audiences will also enjoy a medley of Hebrides Islands folk songs by Clare Grundman, “Amazing Grace” by Frank Ticheli, and John Philip Sousa’s march “Fairest of the Fair,” among other selections chosen especially for the Christ Church space.
