Take A Child Outside Day

When: Sun., Sept. 29, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. 2013

Kids are invited to fill their “eco-passport” by participating nature-based activities, games, and music presented by local environmental educators. Teachers and school staff are invited to attend and learn about using these activities in their classes. Take A Child Outside Week is an international celebration dedicated to providing parents, teachers and other care givers with resources on outdoor activities and encouraging children to spend unstructured time outside – even in their own backyard.
