Take A Child Outside Day

When: Sat., March 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 2018

Meet lizards and snakes! Zoom in on pond water! Take a silent walk to a bird roost! Come out to the Arcata Marsh for the 6th Annual Take A Child Outside Day: a festival of fun outdoor exploration for kids and their caregivers. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 local environmental educators will offer activities along a half mile loop, beginning at the Interpretive Center. Kids will fill their “eco-passports” and Teachers are invited to come learn about field trips, in-class presentations and other environmental education opportunities for their students.
