Torn Together: Annette Makino Art Show Opening

When: Sat., Sept. 3, 6-9 p.m. 2022

Annette Makino will debut her new Asian-inspired collages at Just My Type during the month of September. Called “Torn Together,” the solo show opens with an artist’s reception during Arts Alive! on Saturday, Sept. 3 from 6-9 p.m. Makino is an award-winning haiku poet and artist best known locally for her Makino Studios line of greeting cards and calendars. Her book, Water and Stone: Ten Years of Art and Haiku, was recently honored in the Haiku Society of America’s Merit Book Awards. Just My Type is located at 235 F Street in Old Town Eureka.
