Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for a presentation by Dr. Seafha Ramos, Lecturer and Research Associate at the Humboldt State University Wildlife Department. Long before European scientists set foot in North America, Indigenous Peoples had been gathering information about their environment for millennia. Dr. Ramos will discuss her work meshing traditional ecological knowledge and wildlife conservation, and explore how wildlife biologists can develop culturally sensitive approaches to their research. Bring a mug to enjoy shade-grown coffee and come fragrance free.
