Help maintain the Humboldt Bay Trail North by removing invasive roots and species, weed whacking and cleaning beginning at the southernmost end of the trail through the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary and concluding work in the Creamery District. All ages. Rain or shine. Meet at 9 a.m. at the volunteer staging area in front of the City of Arcata’s Corporation Yard. Volunteers who plan on driving are asked to park in the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary Parking lot located on South G Street and walk to the staging area. Bring a reusable water bottle, gloves and wear protective footwear and clothing. Extra gloves and tools provided. Lunch served at the end of the work day.
