Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

True North Organizing Network Meeting

When: Wed., May 20, 6 p.m. 2015

Parents who have students in Del Norte County Public Schools and all those who want to see better educational outcomes for Del Norte students are invited to a meeting on the evening of May 20th in the community room at the Yurok Tribal Government Center in Klamath, California. Beginning at 6 PM, this one hour meeting is the culmination of months of work by True North Organizing Network leaders and staff. At the meeting we will seek the commitment of school, tribal and local government officials to support a policy and strategy for parent engagement in Del Norte County schools. Research has demonstrated that parent engagement in the education of their children is a key to student educational success. We're working to improve educational outcomes for Del Norte students by better engaging parents in our schools and classrooms. Please join us at 6 PM on May 20th in the Community Room at the Yurok Tribal Government Center, 190 Klamath Boulevard in Klamath. Child care and refreshments will be provided.
