Wow. I was delighted to read Paul Mann's article in the Aug. 28 NCJ ("The Numbers Game in America's Education Casino")! Rarely do I run across such a concise, well-written piece delivered with a breezy, engaging style and punctuated with marvelous quotes. It was like a delicious dessert for the brain: each paragraph full of tasty bites.
Only one problem ... I was left wanting more! Bravo, Mr. Mann, and to quote Oliver Twist in Charles Dickens' book of the same name: "Please, sir, may I have some more?"
