Violette

Violette Leduc, born as an illegitimate child at the eve of last century, meets Simone de Beauvoir in St-Germain-des-Prés in the years following World War II. An intense, lifelong relationship between the two women begins: For Violette it's a quest for freedom through writing and for Simone, an established writer, she believes in Violette and thinks she is dealing with the fate of an extraordinary talent.
