Elliott Dabill presents “What the Dinosaurs Can Teach Us About Global Warming.” ESeating is limited to the first 50 attendees, on a first-come, first-served basis. Elliott is a retired high school science teacher and current president of Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM). Global warming has influenced life on Earth long before there were humans. The dinosaurs got their start, became dominant, and met their end (except for the birds) under the pressures caused partly by global warming. How much trouble can we be in? How big is our anticipated warming, compared to the past? A lot of information is still missing, but what is known is a profound story.
