Help remove invasive plants along a beautiful stretch of the Bay Trail. Scotch broom and English ivy need to be removed to create habitat for native plants and the birds that need them. Fronds of pampass grass need to be cut before they go to seed. Trash pick up is also part of the work. Refreshments and tools provided. Join Redwood Region Audubon Society and help restore bird-friendly habitat by pulling English ivy, cutting pampas grass plumes and removing trash from a stretch of the bay trail right behind the Bayshore Mall. Meet us at the back of parking lot between Kohl's and Sportsman's Warehouse at 9:00 am. Tools and gloves will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Light refreshments and water provided, but please bring your own water jug.
