Willits Kinetic Carnivale

When: Sat., Aug. 22, 10-12 a.m. and Sun., Aug. 23, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 2015

Watch the Mendocino County Museum transform into a fantastical environment in which kinetic energy reigns supreme! The Willits Kinetic Carnivale returns with amazing Steampunk costumes and art, music, circus acts, fire performances, kinetic vehicles, hand cars, kids’ games and crafts, and delicious food and drink! Vintage exhibits include cameras and stopwatches, and the Victorian Sweat Shop, featuring over a dozen rare sewing machines. Classes offered in fencing, swing dancing, mosaicking, and more. For those 13 and up, Saturday evening’s Grand Ball will enchant with Tesla coils, aerialists, flaming motorcycles and music by Diego's Umbrella, El Radio Fantastique, and The Crux.

Price: Admission is $10 for Adults; $5 for Seniors and Students ages 13-18; Kids 12 & Under are Free.
