Margaret (Maggie) Gainer will make a presentation titled, “Zero Waste.” at the North Coast Mensa public forum at noon Saturday (Aug. 25) at the Samoa Cookhouse. She will discuss ways to reduce waste levels. There will be time for questions. Lunch is no-host. Gainer has worked in the waste reduction field and recycling industry since 1977. She advises businesses, government agencies and schools to adopt waste prevention methods.
