I find it somewhat ironic that revolutionaries seeking to overthrow the system and establish a new world order end up working for the same system they sought to overthrow ("Notes from Underground," Aug. 13). Usually at some university, where they're regarded as some sort of hero. Another one drinking out of the public trough who comes to mind is Angela Davis. I believe she teaches Black Studies (whatever that is) at UC Santa Cruz.

So before anyone gets too dewy-eyed over the Weather Underground, they should realize they were nothing but a band of terrorists who set bombs and robbed banks, killing anyone who got in their way.
