An article in July 9, 2020 edition of the North Coast Journal headlined "Hundreds of HumCo Businesses Got PPP Funds" contained potentially misleading information. While only those businesses and organizations that received more than $150,000 in Paycheck Protection Program funding under the CARES Act were identified publicly, the majority of loans issued nationally under the program were for less than $150,000. Of the local loans disclosed, most received between $150,000 and $300,000. The Journal regrets any confusion.
