A quote in the Media Maven column in the June 29 edition of the North Coast Journal contained a misattribution. The paragraph should have read:

"Sims argues that maybe it is better to know how much hatred is out there. When Bryant said the experiences that she and Cutcha Risling Baldy, as people of color, have different experiences than do Greenson and Sims, who are white. Sims said: 'The reason I don't doubt that your experience and Cutcha's experience is different is because I see it written out day after day. And I wonder if it is not good to document that.'"

The Journal regrets the error.
